A Saffron scented, creamy yet non-sticky facial scrub with finely ground Almonds and Walnuts. Rinses off cleanly.

Kama Ayurveda Kumkumadi Brightening Ayurvedic Face Scrub is thick cream stored in a dark glass tub housed in carton pack along with a wooden spatula. So you need not dip your fingers to scoop out the product. You can find all the details about the product from ingredients to usage instructions etc on the carton box.
As I shared earlier, Kama Night Cream was too thick and made me doubtful about I should use this on my super oily and acne prone skin or not and the same happened while I opened the Kama Ayurveda Kumkumadi Brightening Ayurvedic Face Scrub tub.
The thick white cream with brown gritty granules suspended (Almond and walnut particles) in it. it smells sweet like milk based desserts, something resembling to thick condensed milk like Kama Night Cream.
Wash your face with a mild cleanser, I am using Kama Rose Jasmine Cleanser as I cant think of any other, loving it so much. Just apply some scrub cream on wet face with the help of spatula and start massaging in circular motion. For scrubbing, there are certain massage movements which helps in proper exfoliation without harming the facial skin. if you are not aware, then try searching youtube for reference.
I would strongly suggest using a normal water or floral water spray in between to avoid rough dry hand movements which could bring rashes than exfoliating and this makes the massage and scrubbing easy and gentle too.
Its all milky and creamy but as soon you will wash your face, you will find that skin is clear and glowing while I wont say that it would completely remove tan or dead skin or even black heads in one go but then its effective. You can use this one to two times a week. Consistent usage would surely give desired results. There is no greasiness left behind nor you will feel skin too dry.
Best Part, I did not get any break outs and no side effects despite having acne prone skin. But since it claims of have benefit of Kumkumadi oil in which I would differ since Kumkumadi Oil has multiple benefits along with glow, Pore shrinking and anti aging ones which I, so far (last one and half month) could not visibly notice.
Again the Ingredient list is not 100% natural but I wont mind looking into the effects.
Aqua, Glycerin (vegetable origin), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Seed Extract (Almond extract), Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Butyl Hydroxy Toluene, Helianthus Annus Seed Oil (Sunflower Oil) Juglans Regia Shell Powder (Walnut), Crocus Sativas Flower(saffron), Phenoxyethanol, Rubia cordifolia Root powder, Sesamum Indicum Seed Oil(Sesame Oil), Crocus Sativas Flower extract (saffron extract), Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Powder (Liquorice), Caprae Lac (Goat's milk), Vetiveria Zizanioides Extract (Vetiver), Prunus Cerasoides Extract(Wild Himalayan Cherry), Monochoria Vaginalis Extract, Ficus Bengalensis Bark Powder(Indian Banyan), Caesalpinia Sappan Stem Powder, Laccifer lacca, Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Powder.

But the question arises- Should I pay 995 Inr for the results, I would say there are many other organic and herbal preparations available in the market at a lesser price and results are not something extra ordinary to be a die hard fan of, like in case of Kama Night Cream.
Overall Kama Ayurveda Kumkumadi Brightening Ayurvedic Face Scrub is a good scrub to try and has nothing to loose if you are Ok with the price tag. Recommended!
My Rating- 4/5
What is your view about Kama Ayurveda Kumkumadi Brightening Ayurvedic Face Scrub and which product do you think is a better substitute??
