Patanjali Coconut Hair Wash for Dry & Rough Hairs

Hi All,

Patanjali products have earned good rapport in Indian market for their pocket friendly yet good quality products. You can find every other Indian household using one or other patanjali products.
Price- 95 INR for 150 ml. Can be purchased from any patanjali outlet and available on some online sites too.

A unique blend of coconut oil and natural extract of Ghritkumari, methi, bhringraj and heena with neutralise base, which cleanse gently, nourish and moisturise scalp and experience hair soft, silky and shiny.
Key Ingredients- major ingredients are coconut oil and Aloe. Although nowhere mentioned about paraben and what is that soft, neutralise base?

Patanjali Coconut Hair Wash for Dry & Rough Hairs review

I have been using the Patanjali Milk Protein shampoo since quite long and this was really an effective cleanser and suited well to my rough, dry hair. The SA at patanjali outlet told me that Patanjali Coconut Hair Wash for Dry & Rough Hairs is also a variant of Milk protein shampoo. So I was tempted to try this. Moreover a hair product with coconut oil as ingredient is something worth a try.
The Patanjali Coconut Hair Wash for Dry & Rough Hairs has a tube packing with white and brown accents to match the coconut images. Has all the details about the product mentioned on the tube. This is a squeezy tube with a flip top cap. It's good that they have got a travel safe packing this time- better than bottle packs.
The Patanjali Coconut Hair Wash for Dry & Rough Hairs is a thick white cream shampoo which has an artificial floral fragrance- not strong enough to bother.
As per given instructions, one needs just 2-5 ml of hair wash to clean medium length hair like mine. Dilute the given amount and wash your hairs. It lathers well and easily gets removed from hairs without leaving any residue.
My dry, rough hairs were soft and smooth post wash but then my scalp was not that clean as I wanted to, Patanjali Milk Protein shampoo was hydrating but cleans scalp quite well.
Also a little more amount can make your hairs fall flat.
But if have oiled hairs, it would be difficult to clean the hairs & scalp well. In an attempt to give a conditioning shampoo, cleansing was compromised.
so now I use it quite rarely when my hairs need just a wash to freshen up and not much of cleansing is required.

Overall Patanjali Coconut Hair Wash for Dry & Rough Hairs is an average product which did not prove well on hair cleansing part for my hairs. Can be skipped.
My Rating - 4/5

Have you tried Patanjali Coconut hair wash? What was your experience?
