if you might have read my Himalaya haul post, you must have noticed that it was one of the purchases. 

I have been using tinted lip balms a lot recently and loving some amazing tinted formulations like Maybelline Orange lip balm but then i wanted something to use at night and also when i do not want to color my lips/prep for a lip color.

Himalaya Herbals Natural Sun Protection Lip Balm comes in a plastic green bullet packing which is sturdy and travel friendly. its always lying in my bag.

As i said it is plain non-tinted lip balm which basically focuses on lip care & protection. it has nutty aroma (like oils) but quite mild. This is a nourishing formula which keeps my lips hydrated for quite long. I usually apply this day & night and found this better compared to tinted balms. it soothes my dry & chapped lips immediately. Even my kiddo loves it  ( he has inherited his dry lips from me :-))it claims to have physical sunscreens (zinc oxide & titanium oxide) but no spf value is mentioned. It wont lighten lips but would prevent further darkening by tanning. Even applying the layer beneath lip colors provides protection from darkening. At times i even use it with sugar powder for scrubbing and it gives smooth supple lips back to me.

Overall I am loving Himalaya Herbals Natural Sun Protection Lip Balm for its hydrating property. Highly Recommended if you like non tinted lip balms.
