Today I am talking about Garnier Pure Active Blackheads Uprooting scrub from +Garnier Pure Active India. When its about face washes i hardly get enough of them. if the face wash is natural or meant for oily to combination skin, i make sure to grab it.
Garnier is one such brand with a wide range of skin and hair care and has proven itself for its efficacy. its pure active range is just awesome. I have tried the Pure Active pore unclogging Face wash too which was really good.
This Pure Active is targeted for Acne prone skin and claims to unclog pores or uproot blackheads along with basic cleansing.
Price- 79 INR for 50 gms , Quite reasonably priced. Available on all retail counters and online too.
Key Ingredients- although its not free of SLS but has effective ingredients claimed to tested on acne prone skin.
1) Salicylic Acid : An excellent exfoliating ingredient that deeply purifies pores*
2) HerbaRepair™ : a natural active extracted from Vaccinium myrtillus (extract from Blueberry), known for its exceptional regenerating & skin repairing properties* *tested
My Experience-
its been more than 15 days i am using this scrub, actually i saved this one for rainy season since its the best time to try it.
The scrub comes in a opaque plastic squeezy tube with a screw cap. Has narrow mouth to control overflow. Packaging with typical pure active label with all the details about the product on back. Sturdy and travel friendly pack-just slip in your bag and forget it.
The Garnier Pure Active Blackheads Uprooting Scrub is aqua blue in color with minute scrub particles suspended in a creamy white base. it has a fresh minty aqua scent which is so refreshing an invigorating. Although the scrub has creamy base but its pretty light and you wont feel like applying a heavy cream. it does not lather much and that is even not required. Abrasion quality of the scrub is just as required, neither very rough nor very mild. its spreads well on wet face and with little massage you feel that your face is clean of dirt & grime to an extent and dead skin and mild acne/black heads is removed well. its easily washed off and the scrub do not stick, one can easily wash it with plain water splash. So a hassle free cleansing!

if you are looking for a thorough cleansing, you need a face wash and just cant rely on this scrub only. I usually apply this scrub after cleaning my face with a face wash.
I have not noticed any adverse effect rather its so cooling and refreshing that i love using it day-night.
Its as good as Clean and Clear Daily scrub which i really loved and now this one.
Overall Garnier Pure Active Blackheads Uprooting scrub is again a scorer in Pure Active Range of Garnier. Highly Recommended for oily/acne prone skin.
